This time, when I came to Zhongguancun to connect with university research projects, my colleagues directly booked accommodation at Zhongguan Xinyuan Global Village PKU Beijing. At first, I was worried that the hotels on campus might not be convenient for business travel. It wasn't until I checked in and walked for two days that I realized that this place was tailor-made for academic and business trips, taking care of all the implicit needs of business guests.
Since getting off the high-speed rail, I have saved a lot of trouble. It takes more than 20 minutes to take a taxi from Qinghe Station to the park, and it is only over 400 meters away from Peking University East Gate Station on Metro Line 4. I can rush to nearby research institutes and Zhongguancun Business District to discuss business during the morning rush hour without worrying about traffic jams. There is no need to go through the complicated visitor registration process when entering the park. The master in the business center downstairs bound them and delivered them in ten minutes, which did not delay the docking meeting the next day. The breakfast in the restaurant will be open at 6:30. There is no need to eat cold bread in order to catch up in the morning. The cooked Congee, hot steamed buns and clear Congee dishes are arranged in order. After eating, you will be warm all over. You can walk directly for ten minutes to the gate of Beijing University to attend the meeting, saving time even for taking a taxi.
After two days of travel, there was no longer the tension of previous business trips. This time I came to Beijing to take the offline exam at Peking University. Among a group of surrounding hotels, I finally chose Zhongguan Xinyuan Global Village PKU Beijing. Originally, I only thought it was close to the exam center and didn't have high expectations. It wasn't until I checked in and pushed open the door that I was amazed by the actual hygiene details. As a mild cleanliness freak who always brings disposable bedding when staying in hotels, this is the first time I haven't taken out my isolation four piece set and slept soundly for two nights.
As soon as I arrived at the floor corridor, I immediately let go of half of my worries. The edges of the toilet seat and lid feel dry and smooth, without any sticky touch. I deliberately wiped the switch and door handle with my own disinfectant wipes, and even after taking them off, they were still clean without leaving any dust marks.
In the past two days, every time the cleaning lady came to clean, she would gently organize the information on the table and put it to one side. After wiping the table, she would specially replace the cloth with a new one before wiping the table. Even the bottom of the hot water kettle was wiped clean without any scale. The next day, when I returned from my exam, all the garbage in the room was cleared away. The new towels I had changed were neatly folded and placed next to the sink. Even the pen I had casually placed on the table was gently placed in a notebook.
